Chilean Fishing |
There's a good variety fish to catch when fishing in Chile.
Chilean Rainbow trout, brown trout, and several species of salmon are always biting in-season, which is mid-November through mid-April -- and that's just the fresh water fishing that's available.
You will need to bring your own fishing gear, but it's an easy 4-wheel drive to most fishing sites, or you can just cast into the "savage" section of the Rio Negro fishing from your own backyard at Rio Salvaje Lodge.
Most fishing is catch-and-release, but many beauties are eaten fresh that day.
