Accommodations |
Rio Salvaje Lodge rests at the foot of the Hornopiren volcano and is bordered by the beautiful Rio Negro.
The lodge is situated on several acres of scenic river front property and is landscaped with fruit trees, raspberry patches and large stands of exotic nalcas.
We accommodate a total of eight guests per week in four spacious, double occupancy rooms, each with a private bathroom. Amenities are unsurpassed for this remote region and include a common lounge and dining area, but uncommon quiet reading room, always open bar with beer and wine, high speed wireless Internet and satellite TV. See photos of the Lodge here.
Meals are delicious.A gourmet chef prepares everything, from fresh fish to succulent steaks. It's all served in traditional Chilean manner for North American tastes. Before dinner, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails are served. Fresh pastries, baked bread, rolls and other delights complement meals. You can also request special orders when making reservations.
Off-site lunches are great, too.We pack for a picnic, or your guide will prepare fresh fish right there streamside, conditions permitting. And we're talking fresh fish, fresh fruit, baked goods and wine, complete with a red and white-checkered tablecloth. |
